It all started - 20 January 2018

Went to an estate auction on 20 January 2018 (by myself) - My boo didn't want to go - but one thing lead to another and the next thing you know it is - SOLD - things happen fast sometimes.

Turns out I  happened to be standing next to the son of the man who owned the truck - before I actually said I would take it - he told me I could keep the truck there in storage until spring - (I don't even have a garage to store it in yet).  He also stated that it should just need a good tune up, battery, change the oil, spark plugs and clean out the gas tank and carburetor and it should fire up - AND WE HAVE A WINNER - SOLD TO BIDDER NUMBER - 83.

Of course I will admit that I don't know the 1st thing about restoring, fixing up, getting to run again a 1927 Chevrolet - but I will tell you that I will give it my best shot.  I think the harder part might be trying to explain the purchase to my wife when I get home - but at least it is a Chevy, so that should get me a few good points with her.
