1927 Chevrolet Truck and Miss Maple

So it is the end of March. I have all the boards stained and one coat of urethane applied.   Just need to put them all together.  I wonder if anyone is coming over this way that is retired and needs a nonpaying part time job? Well see. The boards came out better than I had hoped for - and I had to repaint the metal brackets, I  got a little to ahead of myself when I took them down and wrapped them up, but they look pretty good. The steering wheel has about 4 coats of urethane on that. It was a little tricky for Jamie to steer the car when Brett and I pushed it out of the garage this weekend so I could get the boat out and make more room to work on putting the truck back together. April's goal is to put it all back together, tuned up, inspected and out on the road for some  small around the town trips.

It was close to 65 degrees on Friday and then Saturday morning it was snowing again.  It didn't stop me, I went ahead and started staining some of the wood panels.  By the end of March I should have all them stained.   Maybe if it is nice this weekend out, I can move the boat out of the garage. Then that will give me some working room in there to put the winter projects back on the truck.
